Their main duties are to provide support and assistance to computer users in classes.  When on duty, these students wear a red jacket. Recruitment of Student Assistants Every year, new Student Assistants are recruited from May to June (fall recruitment) and from November to December (spring recruitment for the following year). Applicants are provided with a "competency check" and a training seminar. After that, they will be asked to submit a letter of recommendation from a full-time faculty member in charge of one of their seminar classes. Eligibility Must be a student of KUAS in their first or second year of study Basic knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, etc.) Must possess a KUAS-domain email address Must be able to communicate in Japanese General Job Description Assist in teaching computer classes Support for students in the open PC classrooms Working Hours Student assistants will be assigned to a position based on a balance between their free time when they are not in class, the hours required by the ICT Center, and the hours of other SAs. A poster will be put up in computer classrooms when the application period begins for SA positions, so please check the poster for details.
