Moreau （京都大学） 講義題目：マイクロロボットについて 対象クラス：２－５（普通科理系） 今回の講義は、講師の背景、研究者の仕事、講師の研究内容の3部構成で行いました。 講師の研究は、水中での微生物の動きを調べ、その最適な動きを解析し、マイクロロボットに応用するというものです。水の粘性などの条件によって異なるため、唯一の最適解を求めることはできませんが、最後は生徒と一緒に数理実験を行い、プログラミングを用いて特定の条件下での最適解を示してくださいました。 生徒の感想 英語だけの講義は初めてでおもしろかった。 こんな機会はめったにないので本当に感謝したいます。 自分の知らない分野を英語を通して学べてよかったです。 今自分が持っている知識はまだまだ少なくて、もっといろんなことを知りたいと思った。 波の数が変わるだけでなぜ距離が大きく変わるのか気になった。 難しいことが多かったけど新しく知ることができて良かった。 生物をとっているので、微生物やマイクロロボットの話は面白いと思った。 研究が楽しそうなのと難しそうなのが伝わって早く研究したいと思いました。 流体力学の内容をわかりやすく聞けて、難しい学問ながらもとても役になる学問だと思いました。 Science Dialogue Date: Feb 2, 2023 Lecturer: Dr. Clement Y. Moreau（Kyoto University） Theme：Microrobotics Class：２－５（Standard Course） This lecture consisted of three parts: background of the lecturer, work of the researcher, and the lecturer&＃8217;s research. The lecturer&＃8217;s research involved studying the movement of microorganisms in water, analyzing their optimal movement, and applying the results to microrobots. Although it is not possible to find the only optimal solution because it depends on conditions such as the viscosity of water, he eventually conducted mathematical experiments with his students and showed the optimal solution under certain conditions using programming. Student feedback It was very exciting because this was my first time to take a lecture in English. I have never had such a precious opportunity like this, and I am very grateful. It was really nice to learn something unfamiliar with me. Since I don’t know much about microrobotics, I was very inspired to learn more about it. I was very curious about the reason why the total moving distance varies with the number of waves. There are some difficult parts to understand, but I really enjoyed learning new things. Since I learn biology in daily classes, it was very intriguing about the robots and micro organisms. I found researches both attracting and challenging, which made me want to do a research by myself. As I was able to listen to the lecture about fluid mechanics, I found it really useful if it’s in practical use. Follow me!
