More specifically, the project involves building suitable resource circulation systems in partner countries by providing know-how (e.g., policy tools, technology, systems) on how local governments in Japan have reduced environmental burdens through policy dialogues and other measures, and by verifying the effectiveness of such measures through demonstration projects. Through the above efforts, the integrated introduction of systems and technology related to resource circulation will be promoted in the partner countries. In addition, a research demonstration project will be conducted to increase the efficiency and sophistication of resource recycling, with the aims of building an advanced resource circulation system that integrates manufacturing and recycling industries in Japan, and ultimately deploying a similar system in Asia in the future.
