In addition, to develop active projects and tools for promoting disaster resilient society. Key Words disaster tradition / disaster information / disaster culture / information management process / evacuation behavior Website Shosuke SATO, IRIDeS, Tohoku University Tsunami Engineering Laboratory Research Activities Effective and sustainable disaster tradition It is important to build the process that consist of contents collecting, structuring, visualization and promotion and the management method to continue user growth based on marketing perspective for effective and sustainable disaster tradition activities. This research project aims to model and implement effective and sustainable disaster tradition methods as action – research and cooperation implementation with practitioners working for disaster tradition at the affected areas in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake disaster and researchers specializing in disaster science, library and information science, tourism study, psychology and more research fields. The following picture is ruins of Great East Japan Earthquake Kessenuma Ciry Memorial Museum. IRIDeS has a satelite office in the museum to conduct co-reseafch with Kesennuma City. Establishment of methods for recoding and succession diaster response experience Today, coming up to several years after the occurrence of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the number of personnel who experienced the earthquake disaster is decreasing. If no measures were taken, the knowledge learned from the disaster response would vanish from the governmental office. We examined previous studies on disaster response memory inheritance. The authors then analyzed and summarized the method of effectively passing down the memories of the disaster. In particular, we support the succession projects in Miyagi Prefectural Government and Sendai City Government affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake Disaster The following picuture is disastr ethnography interview in Miyagi  Prefectural Government. Effective information and intelligence process system for the Info-plosion Era  When a disaster occurs, staff members of national and local governments conduct disaster-response efforts to ensure incident stabilization and to recovery their region. Researchers in disaster areas study the situation and disaster responses, consider new lessons, and provide appropriate responses and support. Researchers must understand and analyze the disaster situations and response procedures to help the staff members and investigations respond appropriately. The world standard of disaster-response systems, ICS (Incident Command System) describes the COP (Common Operational Picture), which demonstrates the importance of analyzing and understanding the situations appropriately.  Specifically, we investgate disaster management process of EOC in local governments and SNS data in the emegency phase and design effective propcess methods.
