Library 情報検索ガイド 新聞記事・ニュースの探し方 How to Search for Newspaper Articles and News ここでは、図書館で新聞を読んだり、新聞記事を探す方法を紹介します。 新聞記事は、政治、経済、社会などに関する事象について、組織的な取材を行う新聞社が、広く社会に対して公開する、信頼性の高い情報です。また、新聞記事は、社会的関心事に対する世論・世相と相互に強く関連しており、ある種の社会現象、社会思想に対してどれだけの関心が払われ、それがどのように評価されているかを知るうえで、重要なエビデンスとなるものです。そういった意味で、社会科学の広範な分野や、近現代の歴史、思想、言語等を研究する上で不可欠な一次資料といえます。研究者の書く論文でも、事実提示や世論・世相の動向を推量する根拠として、新聞記事を活用している例が多くあります。 Here, we will show you how to read newspapers and search for newspaper articles in our library. You can browse the newspaper online with almost no time lag, and it also has a translation function into 11 languages including English and Japanese. データベース Databases 朝日新聞、毎日新聞、読売新聞、日本経済新聞などの主要な新聞については、新聞記事データベースの契約があって、朝日、毎日については創刊号から、読売は明治期から、日本経済新聞は過去30年の記事を、キーワードや分野分類などで検索できます。 電子リソース一覧の資料タイプ「新聞記事・ニュース」には、一般紙を中心に、新聞社が提供する、カレントを含むデータベースをリストアップしています。カレントを含まないものについては、資料タイプ「古文書・歴史的資料」をご覧ください。 For major Japanese newspapers such as ASAHI Newspaper, MAINICHI Newspaper, YOMIURI Newspaper, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, there is a newspaper article database contract, you can search articles for Asahi and Mainichi from the first issue, for Yomiuri from the Meiji era, for Nihon Keizai Shimbun in the past 30 year. For those that do not include the current, see the "Ancient Documents and Historical Materials" Material Type. 新聞ダイジェストと新聞集成編年史 "Newspaper Digest" and "Shinbun Shuusei Hennen-Shi" 『新聞ダイジェスト』は、新聞ダイジェスト社が刊行する月刊誌で、主要新聞の記事を項目別にダイジェストするものです。対象となる1ヶ月間に報道された主な事柄について、各紙がどのように報じたのかを読み比べることができますし、その事柄に対する報道が日を追ってどのように変化していくのかを追うこともできます。 『新聞集成昭和編年史』は、教育資料出版が刊行するもので、その年の新聞記事を項目別にまとめ、各年数冊に編纂したものです。日本国内で発行される全国紙、地方紙だけでなく、占領地などで発行された邦人向け新聞などの記事も含まれています。2020年2月現在、昭和2年版から41年版までの172巻が刊行されており、現在も編纂が続けられています。『新聞集成大正編年史』はその「大正」版で、大正元年度版から15年度版まで全44巻が刊行されています。 "Newspaper Digest" is a monthly magazine published by the publisher other than the newspaper publisher, which digests articles from major newspapers by item. "Shinbun Shuusei Taishou Hennen-Shi (Historical Chronicle of Taishou Period Newspapers)" is the "Taisho" version, and 44 volumes have been published from the first year of the Taisho era to the last year of the Taisho era. 保存用のメディア Media for Preservation 新聞の価値は速報性だけではありません。過去の新聞記事を学習や研究に使うこともよくあります。しかし、大量に速くしかも安価に印刷される新聞の紙質や印刷技術は、保存に適したものではありません。データベースで検索できる新聞記事は膨大な新聞記事のごく一部で、それ以外のものについては、縮刷版やマイクロ資料というメディアで保管されています。 縮刷版とは「図書や逐次刊行物の版面を写真技術などによって縮小して印刷し，判型を小さくして刊行した印刷資料」で「とりわけ全国紙の縮刷版は典型的な図書館資料として広く普及して」います（※１）。「新聞」「縮刷版」というキーワードなどで蔵書を検索してみると、朝日新聞、毎日新聞、読売新聞、日本経済新聞、京都新聞などの一般紙をはじめ、業界紙や労働組合などの機関紙など、さまざまな団体が発行した新聞の縮刷版が所蔵されていることがわかります。その約半分ぐらいは平井嘉一郎記念図書館に所蔵されています。地下1階の雑誌コーナーに配架されているものと、自動書庫に収納されているものがあります。 マイクロ資料とは、さまざまな資料を撮影した写真用フィルムで、ロール状になっているものをマイクロフィルム、葉書ほどの大きさのシートになっているものをマイクロフィッシュと呼びます。現在は、実際に写真を撮影するのではなく、電磁的に記録されている原稿からマイクロ資料を作成する装置などが使われることもあります。「新聞」「マイクロ」というキーワードなどで蔵書を検索してみると、京都新聞の前身である「京都日日新聞」「京都日出新聞」をはじめ、全国各地の地方新聞や、海外で発行された邦人向けの新聞、業界紙、さまざまな団体の機関紙や会報など、多くの資料が所蔵されていることが分ります。その多くは修学館リサーチライブラリーにあります。サービスカウンターに依頼して出納をしてもらい、マイクロリーダーで閲覧します。マイクロリーダーは各館に設置されていますが、他キャンパスの館に所蔵されているマイクロ資料を閲覧するときは、所蔵している館でマイクロリーダーに資料をセットしてもらい、自分のいるキャンパスから遠隔操作して閲覧することが出来ます。操作方法はサービスカウンターに照会してください。 ※１ "縮刷版", 図書館情報学用語辞典 第4版, JapanKnowledge, https://japanknowledge.com , 参照 2020-05-22 Newspapers are not just worth breaking news. However, the paper quality and printing technology for printing large quantities quickly and inexpensively are not suitable for preservation. The newspaper articles that can be searched in the database are only a small part of the huge number of newspaper articles, and the others are preservated in media such as reduced editions and micro materials. A reduced edition is a printed material published by reducing the size of a book or serial by using photographic technology to reduce the size of the format. In particular, the reduced edition of national newspapers is widely used as a typical library material. Our library contains reduced editions of newspapers published by various organizations, not only general newspapers such as the Asahi, Mainichi, Yomiuri and Kyoto Shimbun, but also industry newspapers, labor unions and others. About half of them are in the Hirai Kaichiro Memorial Library. See RUNNERS OPAC. Micromaterials are photographic films of various materials, and the ones that are rolled are called microfilms, and the ones that are sheets about the size of postcards are called microfishes. Nowadays, instead of actually taking a picture, a device that creates micro materials from an electromagnetically recorded manuscript is sometimes used. Most of them are in the Shugakukan Research Library. When using them, ask the service counter to take them out from the storage room and browse them with a micro reader. Micro readers are installed in each library. And when you want to browse the micro materials held in the libraries on other campuses, you can remotely control them from your own library. The staff at the service counter will show you how to operate. 雑誌記事の検索 Search for Magazine Articles ある種の社会現象、社会事象に対してどれだけの関心が払われ、それがどのように評価されているかを知るという意味では、新聞だけではなく、雑誌の記事も参考になります。本学が契約をしているデータベースのうち、「ざっさくプラス（雑誌記事索引集成データベース）」は、雑誌記事の検索に役立ちます。このデータベースでは、学術雑誌に掲載されている論文のタイトルも、週刊誌などの一般雑誌に掲載されている記事のタイトルも、同じように検索されます。『中央公論』『世界』『思想』などの総合雑誌、論壇誌も同様です。本文がデジタルですぐに参照できるものは一部だけですが、レファレンスカウンターで相談すれば、本学の蔵書から探したり、他大学や他機関の所蔵するものを取り寄せたりできる場合もあります。 大衆雑誌の分野では、大宅壮一文庫関係の資料も役に立ちます。「大宅壮一文庫」は東京都世田谷区にある雑誌の図書館で、ホームページによると、「評論家・大宅壮一（1900－1970）の雑誌コレクションを引き継いで、明治時代以降130年余りの雑誌を所蔵し」「雑誌記事索引データベースを作成しており、主な所蔵雑誌の記事を検索することができ」るようにしています。本学図書館には索引などの資料が所蔵されています。オンラインデータベースである「Web OYA-bunko」が使えると便利ですが、立命館大学での契約は年度ごとに判断されますので、使えない場合もあります。 それぞれのデータベースで、特定のキーワードを入れてヒットする記事の件数は以下の通りです（2020年5月現在）。 Not only newspapers but also magazine articles are helpful in knowing how much attention is paid to certain social phenomena and social phenomena and how they are evaluated. In the field of mass magazines, materials related to Oya Soichi Bunko are also useful. "Oya Soichi Bunko" is a magazine library located in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo. According to the website, it has taken over the magazine collection of critic Oya Soichi (1900-1970) and has a collection of magazines for more than 130 years since the Meiji era. We have created a magazine article index database so that you can search for articles in major magazines. Our library holds materials such as indexes. It is convenient to be able to use the online database "Web OYA-bunko", but it may not be possible to use it because it is decided every year whether or not to sign a contract.
