Josai Practical School was the founding body of Josai Gakuen, which in turn was the founding body of Josai University. Kumakichi Nakajima was the founder of Josai Practical School, while Haruji Nakamura was the founder of Seikei Practical School and the first academic affairs supervisor of Josai Practical School.
