National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism The National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism is located in Kaohsiung County in southern Taiwan, conveniently close to Kaohsiung International Airport. The entire university covers a vast area of 15 hectares and is surrounded by greenery. As the name implies, this university specializes in hospitality, such as tourism and the hotel industry, with excellent practical training facilities and learning environments.   National Kaohsiung University Website Kainan University Kainan University is a private university with 25 departments across 5 faculties, with its campus located in Taoyuan County, where Taiwan&＃39;s international airport is located. From the campus, it only takes about 20 minutes to reach the airport despite the fact that Taoyuan is not a large city like Taipei or Kaohsiung, and the scenery is typical of Taiwan&＃39;s sub-tropical climate. Kainan is a university where students can learn both Chinese and English, as it has an "International Honors Course" where all classes are taught in English for students from overseas.   Kainan University Website MingDao University MingDao University is an industry-academic university founded in 2001, located in Changhua County in central Taiwan. MingDao is famous as an exemplary eco-campus, as the university is particularly focused on the field of eco-friendly technology, and their beautiful and ecological campus has been recognized as a five-star campus by various media outlets in Taiwan. Classes are taught by excellent professors and classrooms are fully equipped with hands-on learning facilities. MingDao currently has more than 500 international students including exchange students, and the on-campus environment is very international. MingDao University Website Application Guidelines for 2022 Spring Departure Exchange Programs to Taiwan We are looking for students who would like to study in Taiwan from the spring semester of 2022. Host School National Kaohsiung University  Kainan University MingDao University Features Kaohsiung University of Tourism and Hospitality is a university specializing in tourism and hospitality, with excellent facilities and learning environment. The departments are as follows Ⓐ Department of Hotel Management Department of Food and Beverage Management Department of Tourism Management Department of Aviation and Transportation Management Department of Hospitality Marketing and Event Management Leisure and Recreation Management Department of Chinese Cuisine Department of Western Cuisine Department of Baking and Pastries Department of Applied Japanese (taught in Chinese) Ⓑ Department of Applied English Kainan University is a private university with 5 faculties under which are 25 departments.  Kainan also hosts a special course for international students where all classes are taught in English. International students can study English in Taiwan where the cost of living is lower than in Western countries. MingDao University is an industry-academic university founded in 2001, located in Changhua County in central Taiwan. The program is taught by highly qualified professors and is equipped with practical teaching facilities. Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher at the time of application. Students who wish to study in the Departments listed under Ⓐ must have completed (or be in the process of completing) credits for "Chinese I and II" or have equivalent or higher Chinese proficiency. Students who wish to study in the Department of Applied English (Ⓑ) must have English proficiency equivalent to or higher than Level 2 of the English Proficiency Test.   Students must be enrolled at the university for at least one year at the time of departure. Students must have earned an average of at least 18 credits per semester. Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher at the time of application.
